We have received an update from DVSA announcing the restart of lessons and tests in England. We can confirm that from the 12th April 2021:
- LGV lessons and testing, and in-vehicle and third-party classroom-based Driver CPC training can restart if government guidance allows.
- NRI will plan to restart practical examinations for LGV Instructors, Assessors, and Driver CPC Instructors.
Please note, this is subject to restrictions being eased as part of the Government roadmap.
DVSA will email all those with tests booked before the proposed restart dates to let them know these won’t go ahead and it will be automatically rebooked. If you have booked a test for any of your pupils during this period of restrictions, it will be cancelled, and you will be automatically refunded.
We’re currently awaiting guidance from the Scottish Government and Welsh Government, who are setting out similar plans to the UK Government.
